Renewed enthusiasm
I have recently decided to quit Co-ops. Just got to decide when. The sooner the better. I know I have talked about how I would not get the training that I could get by staying with Spokane PD, but in the end, I havent truly participated in a long time, so I'm not gaining anything now. And whats worse? I have absolutely NO enthusiam to go get hours every month. I'm totally discouraged and put off by the FTO situation and it makes me miserable to think about it.
So I have decided to apply for Medical Lake PD and Liberty Lake PD... this is good for me because everything will be new and fresh and I could "start over"... It may be the "refreshment" that I need. Encouraging myself to get out there and do what I loved to do! And neither department requires a physical so it would allow me time to get back into shape and not have to be ocnstantly discouraged by my inability to pass the last few seconds of the mile and a half (which is truly pathetic. i know.) and would encourage and make me WANT to go do things like working out regularly and going on patrol, etc. especially if I leave the things that stress me out behind.
Wish me luck! I still have to apply and get in! : )
